  Amazing staff and quality care. Doctor Thomas has an office in Yucca Valley and one in Twentynine Palms. I make the 30 minute drive to the Yucca Valley office cause the staff there is fantastic. No long waits to be seen, and they can usually squeeze you in if it is urgent enough on short notice. Highly recommend.

  I had made an appointment for my husband and I with this medical practice in order to get established. They were very accomodating with us, even after I had to reschedule a couple of times due to medical emergencies with my husband. I've been reading the reviews and it seems like most had a problem with the staff, we didn't have a problem, at all, however, I did have a HUGE problem with Dr. Young...the rude, condescending middle-aged doctor that we had an appointment with. We happened to catch the flu the day before our appointment, so on the day of, myself, my husband and our caretaker wore masks in order to not spread our germs. When Dr. Young walked up to the door of the exam room, she took a step back and then she snottily asked why we were all wearing masks. I told her why. She then walked in the room without introducing herself, sat down and started grilling my husband. Her questions were very confusing and my husband, who was medicated, was having a difficult time answering her. I was even having a hard time trying to figure out what she was wanting to know. She made it very clear by her behavior, body language and attitude that she didn't want to deal with someone with so many health issues going on. After she started speaking to my husband like he was an idiot, I stopped the "exam" and I told her what I thought of her and we left the exam room. I went to the front desk and asked them if Dr. Young was the only doctor we could see and we were told we could see Dr. Fringer. At that moment I looked up and saw a man that looked perhaps 100 years old SHUFFLING across the floor behind the staff. I asked the woman if he was capable to do his job (paraphrasing), and her answer: "with the help of the staff". I was floored to hear such an answer! Basically, what I was told that mine and my husband's well-being would be in the hands of a doctor that can only doctor with help! Totally unacceptable. I would not recommend this office to ANYONE. Your only choices for a doctor are: a cold, snotty woman who has no compassion or manners, or, a very old man who can only do his job with the help of the staff.

  The receptionist is extremely helpful and professional and my primary doctor is great!! THEY BOTH DESERVE 5 STARS!!! However, the "gynecology doctor" was extremely rude and unprofessional. I recommend if you have female issues, pay out of pocket to see a professional. (I have insurance, decent insurance but I would rather pay out of pocket to see a professional gynecologist who will listen to patients concerns and handle them appropriately.)
